Program Stipend and Tuition

First-year stipend is $59,000 plus fringe benefits. Second-year stipend is $61,000 plus fringe benefits. There is no tuition for the program in either year.

Facilities

The clinical portion of the program is conducted in the Outpatient Clinic portion of the Children’s Mercy Hospital. The clinic is staffed by 5 full-time dental assistants, 1 hygienist, 2 patient access representatives and 1 nurse coordinator. The clinic facility includes 5 fully-equipped dental operatories. Patient care is also delivered in the operating room at least one day per week.

Admission Requirements

  • Documentation of D.D.S. or D.M.D. from an accredited North American Dental School with eligibility for licensure in the State of Missouri 
  • Dental education transcripts per PASS application
  • Letters of recommendation and PPI’s per PASS application
  • Participation with National Matching Service and PASS 
  • Personal interview
