Description
The Program in Pediatric Dentistry is designed to produce strong academically-based pediatric dentists who may choose to pursue a career in either teaching, practice or both. Along with proficiency in the traditional areas, the program offers a strong didactic and clinical orthodontic component to increase the students' skills in this important area. Through the program's affiliation with the UCLA Health Sciences Center, the student will rotate through various areas in the hospital and the Neuropsychiatric Institute in order to gain expertise in the management of sick and handicapped children.
